Here’s what I know:
If a country sent troops to America and said something like, “You Americans are an abomination to mankind. You are the fattest, laziest country, and in order to make you change your ways, we’re going to occupy your land for an unknown period of time, and make you get rid of all your cheeseburgers”, we would be all up in arms ready to go fight the bastards. I mean really, cheeseburgers? Who cares? But everyone knows someone that would slam their fists upon a table and say, “I am an American! I have my rights! I will eat whatever the hell I please, and if anyone wants to stop me, well, then it’s WAR!!!!”
Now that that’s out there, does anyone see any similarities? Like, I don’t know, America being in other countries telling THEM what to do? You’re probably thinking “Cheeseburgers are nothing like civil, religious, or political warfare. How do you get off implying that we’re not doing anything worthwhile?” In some regards, you’re right. When there are a people in trouble, and they call out for help, by all means, let us help them as quickly and efficiently as we can. But there are times when no one wants our help, and we send troops anyway. Then they get shot and blown up.What the hell, America; what the hell.If you're going to get people killed, let it be for a good reason.
